This part is a replacement Standpipe Filter 9-3/4" for select Hot Spring hot tub models. The standpipe secures the filter in a vertical position.
The standpipe, located in the filter compartment, consist of a standpipe and cap. Compatible with a variety of the 1989 to current Hot Spring Highlife and Tiger River spa models.

Remove any debris or floating items from the filter compartment.
Turn the standpipe cap (located on the top of the filter cartridge) counterclockwise until the standpipe cap can be removed.
Remove the filter from the standpipe.
Turn the standpipe counterclockwise until the standpipe can be removed. NOTE: If the filter wallfitting also turns, use a spanner wrench to hold the filter wallfitting.
Reverse steps 1 to 6 to reinstall the standpipe.
STANDPIPE REMOVAL (2000 or later)
NOTE: The standpipe is glued into the wallfitting due to UL requirements.
Disconnect power to the spa.
Access the filter compartment.
Remove any debris or floating items from the filter compartment.
Turn the standpipe cap (located on the top of the filter cartridge) counterclockwise until the standpipe cap can be removed.
Remove the filter from the standpipe.
Using a spanner wrench, turn the standpipe wallfitting counterclockwise until the standpipe/wallfitting can be removed.
