The filter performs two functions:
- Prevents debris from re-entering the spa.
- Keeps filter in position.
- Provides a location for correct positioning of the silver ion cartridge.
The filter should be cleaned on a monthly basis.
Silver Ion cartridge replaced once every 120 days.
