The Vista Studio  completely enclosed for maximum privacy and weather protection  will comfortably house smaller spas up to approx. 75" x 88"

The Vista and Grand Studios will easily accommodate smaller spas. The interior measures 9'11"  x 9'11". However, 6"  in depth is lost because of the recessed entry. We suggest that the spa be placed 4 to 6 inches  away from the rear wall to allow for the operation of an upright style cover lifter (recommended), or space to store the cover if no lifter assistance is used. Cover lifters that store the cover behind the spa are NOT recommended because they often require up to 20 inches  behind the spa for operation. A properly placed spa with a front-to-back measurement of 75"  should give you approximately 3 feet  in front of the spa.

Sequoia Spa Shelters warrants its wood/composite Escape Spa Shelter products and accessories to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ONE YEAR from the date of original purchase. Acrylic glass, tempered glass, and polycarbonate materials are also covered for one year for manufacturing defects. Wood stain applications are not covered under our warranty, and are not designed to stop bleeding of tannin acid in redwood, pine or cedar.

Sequoia Spa Shelters evolved from a successful Northern California contracting business called Natural Development. Specializing in custom redwood decking, the company employed a full-time landscape architect and three busy construction crews. In 1981, the company won a Gold Medal design award from the National Pool and Spa Institute.

Many of Natural Development’s projects included the installation of portable spas. At that time, high-quality, pre-built gazebos were almost non-existent. So the company began designing and building its own. In 1986, it decided to focus exclusively on spa gazebos, and Sequoia Spa Shelters was founded. Our mission: to design and build top-quality spa enclosures that our customers could easily install themselves.

In 1987, Sequoia became an approved supplier to the Hot Spring Spa dealer network.  In the 1990s, sales expanded with a complete line of spa-mounted enclosures and the introduction of our first line of freestanding spa gazebos, which immediately gained popularity not only as spa enclosures, but also as outdoor dining shelters and multi-purpose garden structures.

Today, our family-operated company is continually expanding with dealers in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, Israel and Russia. Sequoia offers a complete line of freestanding and spa-mounted enclosures for all major spa brands. A leader in premium spa enclosures, we continually refine our designs to make them more functional, more durable, and easier to install and maintain. What does this mean for you? It means that when you invest in our products, your reward will be many years of satisfaction and enjoyment.

Good products begin with good design
Sequoia Spa Shelters products are designed to endure in quality and concept. We emphasize simplicity, structural strength, durability, ease in installation, and low maintenance. You want to enjoy your spa and enclosure – not spend time maintaining them. That’s why we make every effort to design as many low-maintenance or even maintenance-free materials into our spa gazebos. We strive to offer a high-quality, competitively priced enclosure that will reward you with years of trouble-free performance.

Quality control
At our manufacturing facility near Sacramento, California, skilled craftspeople build our spa gazebos to exacting specifications. Our kits are pre-cut, jigged, and predrilled at the factory. Proper material selection, close tolerance milling, and careful component assembly contribute to a high degree of product strength, durability and a superior finished appearance.  This also helps insure that replacement parts, if ever needed, may be easily replaced. We often hear from satisfied owners who have had our enclosures for many years, in varied climates, and the enclosures have well withstood the forces of nature.

Kiln-dried lumber for structural integrity
The structural components are built with top-quality, kiln-dried lumber. We select only clean, straight wood that will keep its shape and resist deterioration. The kiln-drying process enhances these benefits by collapsing the fibrous wood cells, reducing the wood’s ability to expand and contract. Then through our selection process we are able identify material that will be further milled and, sorted and inspected for its best use. This process yields wood that is straight, stable and strong – meeting our standards for quality.

Redwood for beauty and durability (Vista Series)
Naturally long-lasting redwood outperforms comparable woods, making it the ideal choice for spa enclosures. Because it shrinks and swells less than other woods, it is more stable. This stability, along with little or no pitch content, allows redwood to hold stains and finishes beautifully. Redwood is also well known for its ability to resist decay, fungus and insects. Finally, the beauty of redwood lasts and lasts – that’s why we use redwood in our freestanding Vista series and why it’s so often been the first choice for decks and other quality structures.

The wall and skirt paneling, entry door, and the exterior and interior trims are built from top-quality, kiln-dried redwood milled to our specifications. Our high standards for wood quality means you’ll enjoy a beautiful, low-maintenance spa enclosure for many years to come.
After ONE YEAR, components manufactured by others and sold through Sequoia Spa Shelters, may be covered under their manufacturers warranty policies when those warranties extend past the Sequoia Spa Shelters warranty. Sequoia Spa Shelters may assist in servicing those warranties. Sequoia Spa Shelters shall not be liable for replacement cost value in excess of cost at time of purchase, nor for transport of replacement materials, nor for costs of labor for replacement.
